Let’s make art- where you’re the subject and it’s authentically you.
Capturing emotion through weddings, couples, and families across Fort Saskatchewan and beyond.
What if we changed the way we thought about photographing our most cherished memories?
If you're longing for photos that don’t just look like your love, but feel like it… you're in the right place. Because around here, I’m on a mission to capture your favourite memories in a way that feels completely aligned with your story. The photographs that you can look back on and feel yourself there all over again.
Your wedding day doesn’t need to feel like a photoshoot of posed smiles. With a documentary-style and cinematic approach, we cherish those unscripted moments so you feel like you’re in a movie scene.
That’s where I come in: I’m Melissa, and I couldn’t be happier you’re here.
As a documentary-style photographer based in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta (but willing to go on an adventure!) it’s my goal to create a space for real connection and memories. I focus on natural and unscripted moments- like the way your child laughs or how your partner looks at you when no one is watching.
Capturing genuine moments in time.
I love ALL things cinematic and documentary style, and your session with me will be grounded, relaxed, and feel like an adventure. I have so much fun shooting anything western or romance inspired, and I'm completely obsessed with soft feels and taking photos that have a sense of nostalgia to them. Got animals? You got the right girl!
I work in the Edmonton/Sherwood Park and Fort Saskatchewan area with no travel fees, and I’m always up for an adventure! Inquire with your dream location in mind and we can chat travel pricing.
Time flies. Capture the real you.
Let’s create your story.
“Melissa was an absolute pleasure to work with... she made everything so casual and yet so fun. She made us feel right at home. It took less than a week to get our pictures back and they looked absolutely perfect!” - Sarah M.
Let’s create your story together.

Capturing your story doesn’t have to feel forced.
Intentionally documenting and preserving who you are.
